Spicy Meatballs
AUSSIE BODIES TEST KITCHEN-
500g ground extra lean beef

2 eggs
-
1 medium onion
-
3 cloves of garlic, crushed

2 tsp ground coriander

½ tsp salt

2 tbsp (20g) Trim Pure Soy Protein or Perfect Soy Protein

2 tbsp olive oil
-
1 can crushed tomatoes (approx 425g)

1 cup of napolitana style tomato sauce

1 tbsp chilli powder
-
½ tsp ground cumin
Mix beef, eggs, half the onion, two cloves of the garlic, coriander, salt and protein powder together. Shape the mixture into small balls.
Heat the olive oil in a large frypan. Add the meatballs, and fry over medium heat until browned. Add the remaining onion and garlic, chilli powder and cumin, and fry briefly before adding, tomatoes and tomato sauce. Cover and simmer cover low heat for 30-45 mins.
Serve with a large green salad or vegetable.
