What is Restless Legs Syndrome and Nocturnal Myoclonus?

During the day Restless Legs Syndrome is characterised by an irresistible urge to move the legs. At night, nocturnal myoclonus frequently occurs.

Nocturnal myoclonus is a nerve and muscle disorder causing contractions of muscles and jerking of legs. These disorders are considered to be associated with folic acid and vitamin E deficiency and sometimes iron.
