Organic Expo 2006

Abundant Earth recently exhibited at the Organic Expo July 21-23 at the Sydney Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour.

A diversity of consumers, from those fundamentally aware and concerned about fair trade, environmental sustainability and genetic modification, through to those valuing quality, taste of produce and nutritional profile, had an oppportunity to speak to growers and suppliers of their favourite organic products at the Expo.

All exhibitors were strictly monitored by event organisers and all certificates were on hand. Only genuine organic products were on display and Abundant Earth gave out samples of Organic Crispy Rice Bars, Healthy Handfuls and our delicious Organic Hot Chocolate, which was well received on Sydney's wintry days. It was a wonderful opportunity to sample our wide range of organic goods to the trade and our loyal customers.

On stage organic cooking demonstrations from Kylie Kwong and industry panellists ensured that the weekend was highly educational and interactive. Kylie's passion and enthusiasm about organic produce was contagious and her children's lunch box cooking demonstrations were well received. Children's health and the focus on organic choices for them was echoed strongly throughout the Expo. In fact the children in attendance were very well behaved as they were not artificially fuelled with sugar, colours, preservatives and artificial flavours. Parents loved the Healthy Handfuls and Organic Rice Crispy Bars as an ideal organic addition to the lunch box. They wondered if the products would even make it into the lunch box as they enjoyed the taste so much!

Abundant Earth is proud to be apart of such a dynamic industry that ensures integrity is in every aspect of production. With over 168 exhibitors, and visitors exceeding last years attendance, the 2006 Organic Expo illustrated that the Organic industry is strong and the quality of product is paramount.
